I think the child may want a shot of espresso before heading home today....or cotton candy.

I've got a buddy who pours a Pixie Stix in a Mountain Dew. Sounds like a good going home treat.

Well. I made it through to nap.
The twins shared four cake pops and a small coffee in the car on the way here.
        Ahhhh

And my rater was here this morning. I achieved the highest rating my state offers. Plus had a surprise annual licensing visit. I fully expect food to show up this afternoon as well. Lol.

            Congratulations! happy face

Actually, I've heard that a cup of strong, black coffee has a similar effect as Ritalin in ADD kids.

Personally, I'd love cake pops and coffee for breakfast every morning. Privileges of being an adult. ::

Me, too. There have been a few children I wished I could give a cup of black coffee to over the years. It'd be a good experiment.

Until Auntie gets tired of them, quits, and they try to come back to you.

                          Thank you!!!
I'm excited that we got it.

And guess who texted at 10:19 pm that they would be here at 5:30a? Which is inside their contracted time but they are usually here around 6:30.
(No response from me of course as its too late to be texting me and I didn't see until this morning at 5:20)

And it's 8:59am and they are a no call/no show.
Probably angry that I didn't respond last night. Since its inside their contracted time I wasnt worried about texting back as I figured they were already enroute by 520 and texting and driving is a nono.

I suppose I could text and find out what's going on, but don't feel it my responsibility. This is NOT the first, or fifth, or tenth time they've done this. Usually it means dad got up late and left them w grandma.

That's true with kids/adhd. We give our son with ADHD coffee before school (or a small can of soda). It helps him tremendously and was his kindergarten teacher who recommended it.

Now a regular kid, I don't know about!

This doesn't surprise me at all.

My one dcb (2) has a king size candy bar and shows up every single morning with a smeared chocolate face (mom goes to the gas station for some breakfast burrito thingy and soda every morning.)

                              This seems common.

And sad... had a couple of neighborhood kids (10-12 yr olds) ask me why I didn't give my babies "dew" in their bottles (Mt Dew) like their little brothers and sisters got; around here the some of the old time families see nothing wrong with it... sweet tea also. It's been passed down a few generations in this area
