Get second opinion and refer to other eye doctors to make sure that your son actually needs glasses. If they all suggest then you should get him to wear them because not wearing the glasses when needed can also cause accidents apart from difficulties faced in daily activities. I don't want to sound rude for your kid but it is a reality and you have to ensure his safety as well.
