Watching my kids play in the pool, ride bikes, make chalk art with the neighbor kids. Its only our 2nd summer in this house - I think back to when all 5 of us lived in a 2 bdrm apartment...life is soooo much easier now. The apartment was a 3rd story walk up and I used to carry their bikes/scooters/chalk/balls up and down those stairs...now I just open the garage!
Lots of DCKs go on a few days of vacation here or there so I typically am down a kid or two, so it is a little quiet.

Sitting on the porch with DH and sipping beer or silly cocktails we create.
Sundresses - I love 'em! So comfy!
No holidays! October 31st - Jan1st feels like a stressful marathon to me. I try to do things like buy Christmas presents year round so there is less to do, but there are just so many events, obligations, projects etc. I love July- Sept. Not much happening. No presents to buy. No fily birthdays (expect mine
).
