      Early morning sunrises
      No winter gear
      Birds!! Bunnies!! Wildlife babies everywhere!
      TONS more outside time
      Water play
      Veggie gardens
      Sidewalk chalk
      Mobile library
      Ice cream truck
      Field trips
      DCF vacations
      Sandbox play
      "Lunchable" type lunches

I pretty much enjoy every season as each has it's positives and negatives and I love that when one season starts to grow weary, another is around the corner so we don't get burnt out on just one season.... but I will admit summer is much more laid back, easier and less stress.... easier to enjoy for sure!

        No lawn mowing.

The grass is dried up and crunchy.
        - Unless otherwise stated, all my posts are personal opinion and worth what you paid for them.

Water Play Fridays! The kids love playing in the water. We talk about the sea animals floating by and have a grand time. They get super tired and take epic naps! What could be better, especially on a Friday?!

I have dropped down to only three kids on Mondays this year (how many fit in my car), so we can go on more field trips. Today was our first summer field trip--a hike followed by a few hours on a little local river beach. We're doing several of those, and three plays by a great children's theater. Love Mondays!

                        quiet summer

Being down to only 2 day-care kids plus my kiddo for the summer and last 2.5 months of my pregnancy plus they are all older 4&5 going to be a nice quiet summer playing in the water outside.

on the downside going to be so broke for the next yr :/

My garden is small--just 2 raised beds. My favorite part of the day is first thing in the morning, checking for new growth, and watering.

I'm totally jealous of your Fridays!
