    I was a total doormat for almost 2 yrs! then I changed my contract and It was so much easier. I changed it to this:

    Payment is due Monday morning at drop off, you will need to let me know prior to upcoming week of any days you will not attend , if you let me know of days you wont be here I will not charge you for those days, otherwise you will be charged for normal schedule. if you pay for the week and end up not coming for sickness or any other reason, there is no refund or credit. I will give a credit if I have to close. I will not hold checks.

    It basically makes them communicate with me! If they expect a two week notice for time off from me why cant I have that same courtesy? I also had to put a strict sick policy in there since they were bringing the kids sick and calling it allergies:confused:
