Hi all! My name is Susan.

My mom and I ran a daycare out of our home years ago, but when she was dying of cancer, I shut it down to spend more time with her. Now, I'm trying to restart it, and I'd like to check a few things:

Does the sign-in sheet have to be on paper, or can it be on the computer?

I want to work strictly with preschoolers, which would mean, working alone, I'd be in ratio with up to 10 kids, but what happens in an emergency?
How would I handle a child needing to be transported to
the hospital?
How would I transport 10 kids? I was thinking of buying
a vehicle that would hold 10 kids but I read that you're
only allowed 5 kids to 1 adult in a vehicle.

Any advice or direction to where I can find the answers would be greatly appreciated.
