  • New Provider Seeking Good Advice

I am a teacher who recently quit due to my baby girl (she's 8 months old now). I love kids, teaching, learning, loving, and watching them grow and explore their little worlds. I really want to be able to raise my daughter and decided starting an in home daycare was a great option so I am just getting started. Any advice is welcome! I have a couple specific questions:
I'm in Utah (salt lake area) and have visited several daycare centers and websites etc for info and pricing. What do you think is reasonable? I plan on being structured and focused on learning as well. I really do need the income and I want to make it worth while for the parents and kids. What is realistic?

I am debating between two names:
Hattie and Friends (learn and play care) or
    Grow to be ME Nursery

What are your votes? Thanks! Excited to be here!

I like the grow to be ME, but maybe call it CHILDCARE instead of nursery. I think of only babies when I hear nursery.

Oh and welcome to the board.

I don't have any advice other than read everything you can on here, ask all questions that come to mind. We have many BRILLIANT providers on here with OUTSTANDING advise.
