Recently joined the site and wanted to say Hello. I'm new to Daycare.com forum but not new to the industry.
Began my journey in the childcare industry in 1989, as an in-home. Eventually had two licensed facilities in my home town of Denton, Texas. Merged both into a larger facility in 1998 and recently sold to pursue other interests. Got my 23 years in!
I truly enjoy the industry of childcare, as I just love kiddos! My center was licensed for 139 kids ranging in age from 6 weeks to 12 years of age.
Nice to be with like minded individuals on here that work hard to take care of children. I'll try to learn the acronyms and blend in, and am available if anyone ever needs advice or support on an issue.
