My 3 yo is at preschool today, leaving only the 4 yo. He has been so content to sit at the table and finger paint most of the morning. Now he's sitting there playing with colored rice. We've had a couple of games of football in between, but for the most part, he's been very content to entertain himself.
Who knew a cheap bag of rice, 2 plastic containers, a plastic glass, and a flour scooper could be so entertaining?
