        I haven't bought one of these so I can't say for sure. I don't have the specs on it and can't check it for safety BUT

        my guess is that this piece of equipment is like pretty much all infant/toddler equipment.. it's been cheapened down and sized down so much that it's not usable over time and not usable for much of a window of growth.

          I have two of the Hippo Seats by Chicco that I use for my grandsons, now 3 & 4. Both are extreme climbers so I have to make sure they are strapped in at all times.

          They're a bit of a hassle to take apart and wash, but well worth the hassle.
