Notice Timeline

I am closing due to an upcoming move out of state. I was wondering if any of you had suggestions as to how much notice I should give my current families? I was originally thinking a month, but not sure I will actually have that long. What seems fair? Keep in mind, I've had most of the kids 2+ years. TIA!
