Hey everyone! So I’m super nervous because I am currently living in upstate NY and am moving to Ohio in January. I got a job offer for a daycare and I REALLY want to be able to do it. Teaching is my passion. On my interview, the director told me she loved me and that I would be a perfect fit for a teacher at the school. But in July of this year, I was going through a lot and made a REALLY dumb decision because I was fighting with my ex best friend and was really not thinking right and scratched my key on her car and ended up getting a misdemeanor for criminal mischief in the 4th degree. It was my only blemish on my record I’ve EVER had and I regret it everyday. I just want to teach so badly and really really want this job and am freaking out because I don’t want to lose this opportunity. Do you think once they do the background check I still have a chance to get brought onto the team even with that on my record?! Please help 😭
