I would get one for every spot you have regardless

I get one for each spot, so it dose not mater if you have 1 or 3 kids in care. The deposit is for the spot so I collect deposits for that.
As well it helps clear up any confusion later on if one child ages out of care, you still have the deposit for the second without having to then switch things around and confuse parents.

I treat each space as an individual space.
Regardless of relation to another child.

Separate paperwork, deposit and rate.
