  • Louisiana In Home DC Wanting To Open Class "A" Facility

First off this forum has been amazing and a huge part of my success as an operator. My desire is to continue to operate my in home dc while merely being an active owner of the facility (Class "A" with an enrollment capcitity of 63). My biggest thing at this point is figuring out start up costs and running costs that are both efficient. I know the required ratios and square footage requirements, but does anyone have any advice and tips for me to make sure this is done in a cost effective manner? Such as cost effective layout, hiring assistants so that the teachers aren't working over 8 hours a day, what's the going pay scale for a director/ assistant director in Louisiana, figuring out food costs etc.. Any help and insight would be greatly appreciated!
