  • Shortest Inspection Ever

I just had a visit from my analyst - 10 mins. She was only here to inspect our spa that we installed last October. She asked how many kids were present, then went straight to the spa. She didn't want to know anything else.

Tomato plants are no longer a violation. She says that I should have fought it years ago.

    Sounds like a great visit!

Hurray! Aren't short visits lovely and disorienting?!

I have one recently. It was my unannounced yearly inspection. It was super short compared to ones in the past. I had on issue that argued about her with an won. She didn't check in several drawers, on in the cubbies...it was weird.

What was the deal with tomato plants? Because they're toxic?

The leaves can make you ill if you eat a ton. New research shows they really aren't as toxic as once thought. But most states still place them on the toxic list. I have to have a fence around mine Kids are NEVER in the backyard without me and gardening is a big part of my summer curriculum. As long as there is a fence around them I'm fine, but its annoying.

They no longer cite you in CA for tomato plants, per my new analyst. She said that before it was subjective to the analyst.

Nice that she wasn't there long.
Funny how one can be so picky and another not at all interested. Either way, glad it went well!

She was only here to inspect the spa that we installed back in OCTOBER. She is retiring next month and wanted to tie up any lose threads.

I find it alarming that they didn't come out much sooner to inspect it and make sure it was okay for kids to be around. I understand they are busy, but waiting 9 months to come out seems a bit lax.

Mine never checks in drawers, cubbies, cabinets, etc. Isn't that weird how different the states are?

GLAD you had a short, uneventful inspection! happyface

I had sent them very detailed pictures showing the entire spa. My soon to be analyst wanted her to verify the locks.
