I Need New Cubbies!

Help me out here ladies and gentlemen.
I have a Closetmaid cubby shelf that fits 9 cubbie bins and I use the colorful fabric bins right now. I just replaced about half of them not more than 3 or 4 months ago and now I have to replace them again. They either get abused (normal wear and tear from regular daily use, they just get used a lot) or they get dirty and grimy (typically the ones closer to the bottom).

I need to replace the bad cubby bins but I'm thinking about just replacing them altogether with bins that are made with solid materials like wood or plastic so that I can wipe them down or paint them when they get dirty/banged up. I'd even consider wicker-like baskets as long as they are deep like the fabric ones. Whatever I get it has to fit the cubby squares I have now which are 11 x 10-5 x 10-5 in.

I'm trying to stick to colorful bins in solid colors since the kids each have a color designated to them that matches their blanket etc. but I'd be happy with anything that I can glue a flat label to or something. Probably something that isn't clear, I don't want to be able to see what's inside the cubbies since that makes things look messy. Does anyone use something like this that can work for me?

I have the same in my daycare room! I was just thinking this morning about how the boxes are starting to look worn because they are pulled on all day long or there are too many toys in them so they poof out now. So I am looking for ideas too!

Ikea has similar shelves (kallax) and have a lot of basket options to choose from. The baskets might work with your shelves.

This. Or plastic crates? My mom is a teacher and had some for her books. I could ask her where she got them. They are roughly that size.

I use bins I got from the dollar tree. They work well and are plastic. The only thing that isn't so great is that they have holes in them. So you can't put any small object in them. They are a little snug and you will have to laminate name tags and attach them with a ribbon.

I have some like MarinaVenessa has too. I bought mine at Target. They also have them at Walmart and I believe at Ikea.

I also have some very sturdy bookshelves/cubbies that I bought from www.lakeshorelearning.com. I have 3 of their Heavy Duty Shelves and Cubbies Storage Units. But they were $330 plus tax each. So I don't know how much you want to spend on yours. They are guaranteed for life, are very sturdy, and really will last pretty much forever. If you buy furniture from them, you might want to make sure that you buy their Heavy Duty brand. It's their sturdiest brand. I've been doing daycare for 25 years and have bought lots of different furniture for my home and daycare throughout the years. Lakeshore Learning's Heavy Duty brand is the most sturdy and nicest looking that I have seen.

It is how cubbies look in my hallway. The extra clothes are into the plastic containers and it still has a lot of place for inside/outside shoes

I keep my bins in my closet for now. They are the small, colorful, plastic bins from Walmart. I believe they ran about 97 cents a piece. Not sure if this would help.

I use mine for toys and replaced the fabric bins with these. They're pretty sturdy...the kids dump the toys and play with the bins

I use similar bins (mine are the solid ones). I literally buy about 50 of them and keep them stacked in my daycare closet to replace. IMHO they hold up well. They clean up easy (plastic)

I print their names and use clear packaging tape to adhere them to the bins.

I also use them for all toys, labeled the same way, except for wooden unit blocks, those are too heavy and stay in their wooden bins.

Could you attach little command hooks inside each cubby and hang items in bags? One on each side of the cubby hole?
