Well I am assuming you are asking for a big reason. I have most of the big reasons I have thought of in my contract and have them under "immediate termination". Is this about the child you mentioned on another post who is violent? If so, I would just tell the parents the truth. Their child is being abusive and you can no longer allow the child to abuse the staff and other children, the child is terminated immediately. I wouldn't feel bad about it. On your other post you mentioned the hitting and kicking. You can't hit or kick the other children, why should a child be allowed to? Abuse is still abuse no matter who it comes from.

I can term for any reason such as:
Disrespectful, physical, and/or verbal abuse to others, property and/or to Provider or Staff.
Repeat failure to make on time payments.
Repeated early drop off, late pick up or NO shows.
Lack of compliance with handbook policy regulations
Failure to complete required forms or report immunizations within 10 days of being administered.
Lack of parental cooperation
Sending a child to care sick
Failure of child to adjust to care
Our ability to meet the needs of the child
Serious illness of child or provider
False information given by Parent either verbally or in writing
Disregarding privacy rules of any child, family, Provider or Employee
