I have a sibling set who have allergies. Not a little bit - a big bit. They are well aware I have a big dog and 2 cats, and I live on acreage in the woods. If you're allergic to something having to do with trees, you will be out of luck at my home. I told them and told them this before starting, but parents insisted it was okay.
The 3 year old does well here, but the school aged, summer one not so much. Today is the second day in a row that dcd has to pick her up because she can't breathe and is gasping for breath and threw up.
She was kept home on Monday. Does this sound like allergies? The gasping for breath with the throwing up makes me think asthma, but with her being home on Monday, maybe even bronchitis. Parents keep saying it is my pets, but they don't have any contact with dck's, nor are they allowed downstairs. Parents keep showing up, want me to dose with Benadryl every 4 hours.
