So Sleepy Lately!

I am so tired in the afternoons. I am on Lovenox injections because I suffered a minor stroke a couple weeks ago and I have found that I am increasingly tired in the afternoons. Watching all these sleeping babies isn't helping at all! I just want to curl up in a corner with my blanket and space heater. Instead, I guess I'll just continue to make coffee by the cupful and count down the time until pickups. Thank God for the 3 day weekend! I am totally getting a nap in somewhere!

Sorry to hear about your medical issues....I hope everything is ok?

Maybe you need to schedule some down time....maybe close earlier or only offer half days on Fridays until you are feeling more pep.

Have you talked to your doctor about feeling so tired? Maybe it has to do with the stroke and/or medications and there is something your doctor can do to help?

Regardless, make sure you take some time for yourself. If we as caregivers are taking care of ourselves, we aren't any good to anyone else.
