Naming Your Home Child Care

I had some questions about naming a home daycare... I've applied to be a listed child care home (which I'm guessing is legally unlicensed in some areas?) Anyway, on my application for name of business it says to only put my name for listed... BUT, I still wanted to come up with a name for my home so I can build a website, etc... So here are my questions

If I did that, would it confuse someone who was trying to find out if I was legit throught the dyfs website?

Should I just go ahead and put my business name in that spot?

Can I make a name for my business or does it have to just be my name?

Can I have the same name as a business in another state or area, or does it have to be 100% original?

Does my EIN have to match my business name or can that stay as my reg name?

Do you have parents write the check out to your bus name or your name? If they did my bus name would I have to open a bus checking account?

How did you come up with your bus name?

I think that's all the questions I have right now... I'm sure more will pop up on this question. Thank you for all of your replies... I'm trying to fill out this paperwork today so I can send it in. I already did the eapplication. Now I just have to do this form and a my fee... How long does it take to hear back? Anyone know... Is it weeks, a month, two months? I'm hoping to be up and running by Aug but there is still so much to do! Thanks again

I'm in Toronto on my iPhone. If you get a DBA it will cover you in your county as long as no one else has taken the name already. Suggest you choose a name that is generic that has your town name and the word daycare or childcare in it. Make sure you can acquire the domain name also.

Thank you. That was incredibly helpful. I just did some quick research on dba and found out where i need to file it and what form i need to use. Amazing how knowing the right question to look for can help.find all the answers! Lol. :: thanks again.
