Yankee Candle is making "Men" scents for the guy who wants to burn a candle but not want the floral smell.

They are going to make them one smell like "Man Cave"? Wonder what that smell will be like-dirty socks.

One will smell like grass or an herb, something like that.

Then the one for blackcats hubby-sawdust! They actually have made one to smell like the smell you get from freshly sawed wood! I can't wait to smell it. I love the smell of sawdust. Reminds me of when I was little and my dad did wood projects.

They've also got a campfire one, one called "First Down" that smells like a football (kind of leathery) and one called "Riding Mower" that smells like freshly cut grass (I'd think that one should smell like beer and gasoline, but what do I know, ).

The sawdust one STINKS, and I generally like that smell.

Yankee Candle had the fresh mowed grass scent several years ago and it really was nice!

I have a friend that does homemade soy candles and her scents are crazy - elf sweat (it was more like vanilla cookies) and monkey farts (banana).. ::

I really don't think I'd like my house smelling like a "Man Cave".

My brother in law loves candles and I ordered him some manly scented candles for Christmas this year. I ordered them through a company called man cans. The candles are in soup cans that have been emptied to feed the poor so it helps a good cause too. We ordered him sawdust, gunpowder and campfire. He loved them!

I'm glad Yankee is noticing that men like candles too!

My husband bought me some Scentsy scent that smells like a man's cologne. I just can't imagine putting that on while the kids are here. Their parents will walk in wondering why it smells like a very handsome man ... ::

I have never been a florally type of scent lover so anything "natural" for me (and hubs ) is very appealing!

Scentsy makes some great scents that are more "masculine" than they're floral and baking scents.... good examples are: Weathered Leather, Sharp Dressed Man, Hendrix, Titanium, Hendrix and Hemingway. There's more that appeal to men, but I know these ones.

And to you ladies who like the smell of saw dust... my hubs works at Home Depot near the lumber run... I always joke that he smells like a hamster when he comes home because the smell of saw dust (hamster shavings) he picks up throughout the day! ::

my dh loves the fresh linen scents and also the pine ones (christmas time candle). I can live with those. Although I find when you catch any pine smell from the wrong angle it reminds me of cat spray *gag*. I've always thought that.
