I live in Canada and I'm not sure how to prepare a tax receipt for the parents. I was hoping to have it ready by the end of the day, but can't find a definitive answer of what should be included. Does anyone have a template I can use? Do I need to include my SIN number? Both parents names? Child name? Just the amount?

well, I buy a reciept book from staples and hand write out the reciepts (I give out only yearly) I give out 2 reciepts, one has the total for the whole year and the second (which is time consuming) I write a reciept out for the whole week (I write the dates at the top) I have parents who need the dates and they compare it with their stuff.
I don't include SIN and you don't need too
I only write out the last name of the child that way mom or dad can claim it--its easier.
