I hope this is ok to post. Part of winning this award is getting the word out to other providers so they may enter. I was part of the class of 2013 Yes family childcare providers do win each year and yes they really do pay all your expenses to fly to philly and the room and food

As a member of the class of 2011 I second this! Please apply with your best project ever. The foundation is really supportive to both centers and home providers and a variety of projects. I would recommend reading through the winning projects from last year (and possibly prior years if they are still on their website) and seeing what they felt was the top ideas.
