I think that this is a great example of why people need to be members of the form for a period of time before gaining access to the private area.
It is hard when we first join this form to learn how to perceive things. We take things personal, we get upset when someone does not agree, we don't understand why people don't respond to our post. It's starting a social society all over again and knowing how to fit in it.
I am sure there was a time that each of us was upset or offended by something that occurred here when we first joined. We may have popped off and responded incorrectly or should I say "not very nice".
Over time, we learn how to navigate on here, how to read between the lines a little better, NOT take things personally and how to stabilize our emotions.
I recall a member years ago QTC, who made me cry. A person I didn't even know and would never see their face. I thought for sure I would never come back to this form.
But once I realized how silly I was being and that it was just WORDS I learned not to take things personal. I moved on and learned how to suffice in a E-World. I made E- friends that I learned to trust and really get to know. I learned how to read their personalities and got to know their spunky sense of humor, or could tell when they needed an e-shoulder to cry on.
If someone is so emotional or unstable or dramatic, I know I would not want that person to have private access to things that are so private.
It is amazing that I can go to my personal desk, go to a private form and
in seconds type about a personal/sensitive issue that I may be experiencing and know that it won't be leaked to the world or anyone else for that matter. I know that the people in there know me and that they will support me.
I honestly can't say enough about this form and the people on it.
